Indian Cricket Board bans journalist for threatening player

BCCI bans Boria Majumdar for sending threatening messages to Vardhiman Saha

and barred him from participating in matches and interviewing players for 2 years.

The Indian cricket board has been banned after threatening to coverage of an Indian journalist allegedly rejected

the interview test cricketer and cricket Saha rdyman scare.

Saha Majumdar social media messages screen shots in February was prompted to launch

an investigation into the Indian cricket after the regulator had tweeted.

Wrote one of the screen shots that share Saha ‘You did not call, I will not interview you again,

I do not insult the manner and I will remember’

Majmudar denied the allegations and claimed that screenshots were false.

But the BCCI said in a statement that it had concluded

that the messages were real and their purpose was to give ‘only and only threats’.

Majmudar is one of the senior sports journalists of India and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is known for his biography.
